Saint Mary MacKillop was an Australian religious sister and educator, and founder of the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart.
She dedicated her life to serving the poor and marginalised, establishing schools and institutions across Australia. Canonized as a saint in 2010, she remains a symbol of compassion and resilience in faith.
