St Christopher's Visiting Team

The St Christopher's Visiting Team are available to visit and provide Holy Communion to those that may be sick, elderly, recovering, isolated, homebound, lonely or grieving.

Depending on availablity, members of the visiiting team are able to visit at your home, aged care facility, rehab centre, respite centre or hospital, for those not able to attend church. We will arrange visits to suit the needs of the person(s) being visited, including the frequency, timing and location of visits. Some of our visitors are available on Sundays and others during the week.

For those recovering from illness or injury, the visits may be short term arrangement until the person can return to church services.  For those that are homebound, or in aged-care, the visits may be a long-term arrangement.

The visiting team provide visits to Catholic aged-care residents at Waverley Valley Glen Waverley which comes under our parish responsibility. We also provide visits to Campbell Place Glen Waverley and Scotchman's Creek Mt Waverley which we undertake to do for St Leonard's and Holy Family parishes. We also visit a number of parishioners' that have moved into aged-care away from the Parish.

Please contact the Parish Office or Peter Natoli the Visiting Team Leader on 0468 671 630 or peter_natoli@hotmail.com if you are interested in becoming a visitor or if you, or someone you know, would like to be visited.

Anointing Mass

Anointing Masses are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. When available, the Grades 5 & 6 children from the parish school join us for Mass. A team of eight ladies generously provide sandwiches and cakes for our luncheon. We celebrate birthdays and special occasions. Once a year, we enjoy a dine-out at the RSL Club Glen Waverley, attended by approximately 35 parishioners.
