At St Christopher’s and Holy Family, we have a shared mission of ensuring that all within our parishes are welcomed and safeguarded from harm.
We invite all volunteers to attend upcoming Safeguarding Essentials interactive group training sessions delivered by our Regional Safeguarding Officer. Safeguarding Essentials will include how to recognise, respond to, and report abuse, with a focus on protecting children and vulnerable people in our parishes.
Code of Conduct Declarations can also be read and signed at this session. Hardcopies are now available in the foyer and will be available at the sessions. Online access to the CoC is on the parish website/Safeguarding.
The sessions are likely to run for about 1.15 hrs.
Contact your parish secretary to register your attendance or record your name on the sheets provided in the foyer. Please come early to allow time to complete the registration and sign the CoC declarations. Bring your WWCC/VIT with you.
A second session is planned for Wednesday 26th Nov, 7pm.
Many certificates will be expiring soon after 3yrs.
